Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 slice of American cheese
  • Two strips of bacon
  • Two slices of bread (Preferable oat bread or Trader Joe's Everything Bagel Bread)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Optional: Mayo
Instructions

1. Start by taking the two strips of bacon and cutting the fat off of each strip

2. Place the now cut bacon onto paper towel and place that onto a plate

3. Microwave the bacon for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds in the microwave.  Microwave further to how you like your bacon

4. In the meantime, heat your pan using medium to low heat and crack your egg onto it

5. Break the yolk and sprinkle salt and pepper over the whites and yolk

6. Flip the egg once it's bottom is solidified

     6a. Cook the egg to how you like your eggs, the longer it is cooked the less runny it will become.  This above picture                has no runny yolk at all

7. Toast the two slices of bread to a golden brown

8. Once the egg is cooked to how you like it, place a slice of cheese on it, so it can melt while still in the pan

9. OPTIONAL: Spread mayo across the two slices of toast

10. Place the bacon on the toast first and then take your egg/cheese combo and place on top of the bacon. Place the second piece of toast and top off your sandwich

11. Cut into triangles and enjoy!
