The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Softened Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 8 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Cream together butter and sugars in an electric mixer until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla and blend in.
- Mix together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Blend into creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Cover a baking sheet in parchment paper.
- Put tablespooon sized balls of dough spaced two inches apart on baking sheet. These cookies will spread out!
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown around edges.
- Let cool for a few minutes on baking sheet and then move to a drying rack.
